Dear HAIN family!

I just want to let you know what a sweet shock it was to see that I was the nominated volunteer for this newsletter. I can't tell you how it filled my heart and brought tears to my eyes. Thank you all so much. You are all like a second family to me, honestly. Who knew I would have so many friends from sooo many different places! I love serving here with all of you, and being nominated meant the world to me. Big hugs and kisses to all of you. 668904buj3406kha.gif

Mary, thank you as always for your work on the newsletter, and to everyone who contributed. Seeing all those sweet and beautiful patterns made me wish I could knit and crochet, BUT, alas, I can't. rolleyes.gif Perhaps it is meant to be that way, so that I can continue to make memory boxes smile.gif (mailed 3 out yesterday!) . . . .

I was very touched by the story of little Landon's passing, and enjoyed reading about our sweetie pie Ally. Congrats to Debbie for winning the latest donation challenge! thumbs_up.gif A big congrats also to Karen and Cheryl for coming in second and third! cheering.gif

It does my heart good to hear you all like it!! But all I did was put it together you all did the work and made the articles! This makes me proud!!

What I was excited for you to see is the permission of Susan B. Anderson pattern!! If you are a knitter she is the rock star of the knitting world. Susan is a knitting book publisher for itty bitty knits. You can see her books in your Local yarn shops and amazon of course. When they agreed I was so excited!! WHAT AN HONOR!!

And our other contributors this issue was amazing and just made my month. It was fun to put this one together.

I am so excited for all the winners. I hope each of you like your gifts.

Proud of you all

That definitely is SO EXCITING about the Susan B. Anderson pattern, Mary!!! thumbs_up.gif I'm not much of a knitter, but this pattern is adorable. I'm so happy that she is allowing us to use it for HAIN. Maybe when I get a little more experience with knitting I'll give it a try.

I was also touched to read the story about precious little Landan, but I feel bad because I don't remember who his Mommy is here on HAIN. blush.gif

she is not on HAIN. She is a friend of Diana and offered to share her story. So very sweet of her.

Oh, I see. That is really sweet of her. I am glad to know that it wasn't just a case of my faulty memory! ohmy.gif I wonder if Landan's Mommy would benefit from the Comfort Forum. I'm sure Diana must have told her about it already though. smile.gif

What a wonderful way to communicate with the members! This is the first time I am posting as I am a new member and just learning my way around the website. I have been knitting fetal demise pouches and small blankets for my local hospital. Due to some illness, I have not been able to contribute much but hopefully, I will back on my feet soon. Your patterns are beautiful and the members are so dedicated; they prompt me to get busy and get knitting!

Thank you so much,
ConnieKay
